Using a variety of media, we will draw wild animals from reptiles to birds! $70
Every Wednesday morning: Sketch’n on the Go!™ 10 am to 12 pm
Botanicals
Come learn how to sketch botanical subjects from the inside out. We will dissect some objects to learn how they grow. Then draw what we see. Subjects will range from root plants to flowers. $70
Every Thursday evening: Intermediate Acrylics 6:30 pm to 9:00 pm
Painting with Vincent Van Gogh
Let’s learn from one of the post-Impressionists and early pioneers of modern art: Vincent Van Gogh. Since imitation is one of the best ways to expand your painting ability, we will study six paintings by Van Gogh to understand is style. $80
Second Sundays
Visual Journaling with collage and mixed media
1 p.m. To 4 p.m.
Spend a couple hours a month, letting go and expressing yourself. There's no creative pressure and it's only $20. Bring sketchbook, everything else is provided.
Unlike the written journal where the words matter the most, the visual journal takes on a life of it’s one. Several visual journalist will say they don’t know why they pick a picture of a piece of fabric to express themselves, but once they do, they are certain it was the right choice for that day, for that hour, that moment.
